The Alerta 120cm Sensaflo Hybrid Replacement System is the world’s first 4-in-1 hybrid mattress, designed specifically for bariatric users at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Featuring foam-filled air cells, SensaGel adaptive foot cells, and an in-use height of 6 inches, this mattress offers superior prevention and treatment in hospital, nursing, and care home environments.
The mattress functions as a high-specification foam mattress when used without a pump, and as an alternating air system when connected to a pump, providing maximum versatility without needing to remove the user from the bed. This ensures efficient and effective pressure care for bariatric users, even in critical care settings.
Equipped with a built-in fire evacuation system, the Alerta 120cm Sensaflo Hybrid allows the mattress to be moved quickly with the user in place during emergency situations, enhancing safety and peace of mind. The mattress features adaptable gel-foam heel zone cells that can be individually removed and repositioned to create zero pressure under the heel, further improving user comfort and care.
When inflated and sealed with the transport cap, the mattress becomes a balanced-air, self-adjusting semi-active system, housed within a high-density foam perimeter that creates a smooth transition from the side rail to the air cells.
Incorporating SensaCare Truflo Technology®, the mattress continuously auto-adjusts pressure levels via an air sensor and microcomputer regulator, ensuring ultra-low interface pressure, stable blood circulation, and natural sleep patterns, all with Ultra-Silent™ pump operation.
